A STORY OF HOPE...
Dr. Lucette went from being a newly divorced single mother with no child support, diagnosed with cancer, with no sick days as a self-employed veterinarian on the verge of bankruptcy to creating a joyful, fulfilling life and a 1.2 million dollar veterinary business.
WHERE IT BEGAN...
Three days after her divorce was final in which she did not ask for child support Dr. Lucette found a lump in her breast and two weeks later found herself diagnosed with breast cancer and needing multiple surgeries, rounds of chemotherapy and weeks of radiation therapy, all in all a 15-month treatment plan to try to beat her cancer.
THE DARKEST HOUR...
Dr. Lucette was initially terrified as she found herself as the sole provider for her and her daughter while navigating cancer treatment. Through the process of going through cancer and taking care of her brother after he suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, Dr. Lucette also found herself overwhelmed and near bankruptcy.
THE TURNING POINT...
One day after more than three years of overwhelment and struggle Dr. Lucette woke and realized that she had a choice. She could either continue down the current path and most likely lose everything she had worked so hard for or she could decide that she was going to change her thoughts and change her life. Within a year of that decision she was almost out of debt and in another eight months she made a large cash down payment to buy her home. This was during the pandemic while losing her mother and taking care of her dad with Alzheimer’s and her parent's estate and running her business.
THE EVOLUTION!
Dr. Lucette found the courage and a deepening connection to God/the Universe that helped her learn to navigate the challenges she faced in a way that led to extra-ordinary discoveries in how to live life from a completely different perspective. To realize that we have so much more choice in our daily thoughts and how to open up the connection between herself and God to truly be able to live an extra-ordinary life regardless of the current life circumstances you find yourself in.
